Amber David
Amber is committed to being a conduit for community development. Her work has spanned CDFI lending, corporate economic development, connecting founders to resources, and employing financing tools to support the growth of local business districts.
Amber David is an Economic Development Manager at The Kroger Co. where she oversees the New Markets Tax Credit and Opportunity Zone projects and manages the company’s tax incentive and credit compliance portfolio. Previously, Amber was an originator and underwriter for the Cincinnati office of Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC). She was involved in real estate transactions totaling $7 million, resulting in the development of over 100,000 square feet of commercial and community space.
Amber holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from The College of New Jersey and a Master of Community Planning degree from the University of Cincinnati. Amber is a New Jersey native and a Cincinnati enthusiast. She has held leadership roles in the Junior League of Cincinnati, serves as a Center Stage Board Associate of the Cincinnati Opera, and is a board member of Flywheel Social Enterprise Hub. If she's not hiking or biking, you can bet she's devouring books and shows related to Afrofuturism, sci-fi, and epic fantasy.
