Fred Hilkowitz

Fred Hilkowitz is the CEO and Founder of Checkerboard Health, a platform that helps people become better consumers of healthcare. Fred has extensive experience in leading technical and business teams in developing commercially successful healthcare technology solutions. While at Quest Diagnostics, he led numerous initiatives for physicians, patients, hospitals, and payors. Some of the successful products were the Provincial Lab Information System (PLIS) for British Columbia and Care360 Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Stage 2 Meaningful Use Version. Fred also proudly served as an Intelligence Office in the United States Air Force. Fred hold a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an M.B.A. from Indiana University.
