Jennifer Powell

After more than 30 years in financial services marketing, including the Chief Marketing Officer position for 15 years at U.S. Bank, in 2016 Jenny embarked on a “second act” teaching Marketing at the collegiate level.  Helping educate the next generation of marketers fulfills one of her long-time goals to work with young people as they embark on their first careers.   Jenny has served on many non-profit boards during her corporate career, and as a life-long volunteer, her new role also facilitates more time to help the Greater Cincinnati community. 

Jenny’s experience includes more than 25 years of success in building comprehensive marketing plans.  She also has extensive senior management experience focused on driving revenue growth and execution of strategic business initiatives.  As an action-oriented, high-energy leader, Jenny is known for effectively leading cross-functional teams and fostering productive relationships among internal and external partners.  She also has wide-ranging experience in merger-related marketing and customer integration; and is a classically trained marketer with demonstrated results leveraging technology and traditional resources to achieve complex business objectives.
